What's inside?

Story Time! is a ready-to-use lesson based on a story, written at two difficulty levels: A2-B1 and B2 upwards.

Each level consists of:

A story "The Christmas Shelter" which unfolds in parts, giving students the opportunity to discuss what has happened so far and share their predictions for upcoming events. This means they practise reading comprehension without having to read a long story all at once.
Post-reading activities: discussion questions, vocabulary work, speaking and/or writing practice.

The set also includes a separate file containing the full story at both levels, which you can share with your students for home reading if they wish to revisit it.

Story Time! The Christmas Shelter works best for online lessons, but it can also be printed.
