Bingo - After Christmas

Turn post-Christmas small talk into real conversation.

These Christmas bingo cards are an easy, low-prep way to start a lesson after the Christmas break. Instead of one-word answers, students are prompted to talk about real experiences, ask follow-up questions and genuinely listen to each other.

Bingo - After Christmas is a set of 6 bingo cards designed to start conversations after Christmas. Three of the cards include simple prompts, which students use to create their own sentences. The other three cards include full statements that students change to make them true for themselves.

These cards help students:

• share personal stories from the Christmas break

• practise natural question and answer patterns

• use English for meaningful communication

• discover shared experiences and build connections

If you don’t want to ask “How was your Christmas?” only to get one-word answers, these bingo cards turn Christmas chat into a lively classroom activity.

How to use this set?
